I apologize 🥺 - I would have designed a shorter and more engaging page, had I found the time.
Letting curiosity and critical thinking lead my way to truth. Design is the poetry to uncover my discoveries.
I believe the power of passion, the power of you really care about something, will drive you to greatness.
I strive for authenticity in every moment, genuinely expressing who I am.
Cities that I've lived in:
Chengdu -> Beijing -> Xi'an -> Savannah -> Kansas City -> Atlanta -> New York -> San Francisco -> Shenzhen -> Oakland (now)
Things that excite me in the design process:
Discovering new perspectives
Understanding a bit more about the world
Forming elegant solutions
Crafting beautiful and fun artifacts
Being Creative
Books that I'd recommend to anyone:
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Harari, Yuval Noah

Atomic Habits by James Clear
Book debts 🤤
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise
Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment by Cass R. Sunstein, Daniel Kahneman, and Olivier Sibony
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
The Stranger by Albert Camus
If I'm not a designer, I'll probably be a chef.
Food is my greatest passion outside of design. I see strong parallels between culinary art and design, and I constantly find them informing and inspiring each other.
For example, in fine dining, exceptional taste is merely the foundation—a baseline that chefs transcend to express their unique vision. Similarly, in my design philosophy, meeting user needs and providing functionality are just starting points. I strive to elevate every design with something distinctive and memorable.
I also do these stuff to channel my creative energy
Journaling
Street photography
Making ceramics
Waiting for the moment to learn Floral Design
When you do not see me creating, you'll find me…
Searching for good food
Snowboarding and skiing
Surfing and Yoga
Camping and hiking
This is what I look like.
I have a silly cat…
… and a sillier dog.

May you continue to cultivate your dreams, the subtle and intangible matter that makes life worth living. May you continue to nourish yourselves with poetic and inclusive imagery, remaining faithful to your values. May you always live by your passions, propelled by the wind of freedom.
